Neos Kosmos metro station is a five-minute walk from the apartment, a tram station is also conveniently placed next to the Metro station [Mpaknana station] and there are lots of buses, too.

The Panathinaic Stadium is close to Mets neighbourhood, and it is really worth to make a visit to The temple of Olympian Zeus and a walk to the National Garden.
Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural centre is 3,5 km away and it offers a public arts centre with a park and the National Opera House of Athens so it can satisfy the taste of visitors of all ages and of multiple cultural quests. There is an easy access to Flisvos Marina and the seaside of Athens, Alimos and Glyfada by tram. The temple of Poseidon in Sounio is a day trip that is highly recommended, especially in summer.
Getting around with public transportation is affordable and easy but in case you want the comfort of a car, it is very feasible to find taxis anytime of the day or night thanks to the convenient location close to Ilia Iliou Street and Lagoumigi Avenue which are two of the main streets of the area.
